Groups provide dinner each night for people staying at the shelter
September 12 | 5 PM - Dark
Volunteers meet our neighbors and provide gift bags with popcorn, water, and other giveaways. 8-10 volunteers needed.
September 16 | 5:30 - 7:30 PM This will take place at “The Square” in Albemarle. Church family will have the opportunity to raise money or give to the Pregnancy Resource Center.
September 18 | 8 AM - 2 PM
At Whitley Auto. Volunteers will have the opportunity to talk with people while their cars are being serviced, encourage them, and pray for them.
September 19 | 8:00 - 11:00 AM
Volunteers will serve at water stations and as course guides.
September 25 | 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Volunteers will help cook, prepare, and serve a meal to the football team.
September 30 | 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Volunteers will have the opportunity to write cards to Honor Flight Veterans, shut-ins andwidows, and teachers at Endy Elementary.
October 1 | 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Volunteers will give teachers a break by covering lunch duty for their classes. There will be two shifts - 8 volunteers at each shift.
